PART TWO
Why are you writing about Aaron a reader recently writes? In answer to that question, let's review from part one.
With the death of one Pope and the selection of another, we could see that all roads lead to Rome as far as Chr--tianity is concerned. On the other hand, with the re-establishment of the Sanhedrin, all roads lead to Jerusalem for Judaism. This will bring in the rebuilt temple and the re-institution of the sacrificial system. What a contrast! Has the Levitical Priesthood any relevance for the true worshipper today? Should the Levitical Priesthood be re-established? Or! Did Yahshua the Messiah change this order into another priesthood?
The world is preparing for the revelation of Messiah. What will precede this end time event? Will there be a Messiah revealed from the Vatican in Rome, who will lead Chr--tianity in victory over sin? Will there be a Messiah sitting in a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem giving himself off to be Elohim?
Now we beseech you, brethren, touching the coming of our Savior Yahshua the Messiah and our gathering together to him; to the end that you be not quickly shaken from your mind, nor yet be troubled, either by spirit, or by word, or by epistle as from us, as that the day of Yahweh is just at hand; let no man beguile you in any wise: for it will not be, except the falling away come first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition, he that opposes and exalts himself against all that is called Elohim or that is worshipped; so that he sits in the temple of Elohim, setting himself forth as Elohim. 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4
Now, what events will pave the way for this passage to be fulfilled? Will this False Messiah sit in Rome? Will this False Messiah sit in Jerusalem? What exactly will transpire prior to this event? Will the Sanhedrin be re-established? Will the Levitical Priesthood be re-established? Will the sacrificial system be inaugurated again?
And he shall make a firm covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease; and upon the wing of abominations shall come one that makes desolate; and even unto the full end, and that determined, shall wrath be poured out upon the desolate.
What does this passage mean? Who causes the sacrifice to cease? Did Yahshua the Messiah end the sacrificial system with His sacrifice? Did the Jewish people accept Yahshua as the Messiah? Does Chr--tianity accept a Jewish Savior? No to all questions!
Now, once again! What is my purpose in writing about Aaron? To show the establishment of the Levitical Priesthood by Almighty Yahweh that led directly to the Savior of man, Yahshua. Because he was rejected as Messiah by the Jewish people (although not by all) they still believe he is yet to come. And so the entire system of sacrifice and also the Priesthood must be re-established! Is this necessary? Yes it is necessary for those who cannot accept his first coming!
The Prieshood was changed by Yahshua the Messiah. He changed it from the physical sacrificial system into the spiritual system also known as the Melchizedek Priesthood.
"Yahshua said to her, Woman, believe me, the hour comes, when neither in this
mountain, nor in Jerusalem, shall you worship the Father. You worship that which
you know not: we worship that which we know; for salvation is from the Jews. But
the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father
in spirit and truth: for such does the Father seek to be his worshippers. Yahweh
is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship in spirit and truth.
John 4:21-24
If we worship Yahweh in Spirit and truth does this necessitate sacrificing animals? If Yahshua the Messiah is the sacrifice that Yahweh accepts for the remission of sins, should we return to the animal sacrificial system? No! We should accept the Lamb of Yahweh that takes away the sins of the world! Where am I going with this? We are seeing many individuals being drawn towards Judaism, and the animal sacrificial system. Although they personally may not believe this, their actions dictate their inclination towards the sacrificing of animals for sin. They are wearing yarmulkes! They are wearing prayer shawls! The wearing of phylacteries is apparent! They are making a show/display of the Holier than Thou attitude that accompanies their arrogance! Rejecting Yahshua as the true Messiah, leaves them several possibilities, all of them in the hands of Satan, notwithstanding!
Even he, whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceit of unrighteousness for them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause Yahweh sends them a working of error, that they should believe a lie: that they all might be judged who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12
Do you really want the TRUTH? Or do you want to continue living in delusion? Will you continue to follow erroneous teachings? WILL YOU CONTINUE TO LIVE A LIE?
Let's get some
background on Melchizedek.
Reference to
Melchizedek is brief in the Tanakh. Melchizedek first appears bringing bread and
wine to Abraham (then Abram) after his victory (described in Genesis 14) over
the four kings who had besieged Sodom and Gomorrah and had taken his nephew Lot
prisoner. In return, Abraham gives Melchizedek a tithe of the bounty that he
took in battle:
Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine. He was priest of El
Elyon, and he blessed Abram, saying, "Blessed be Abram of the Most High El, Creator of
heaven and earth. And blessed be El Elyon, who delivered your enemies into your
hand." Then Abram gave him a tenth of everything. — Genesis 14:18-20 (NIV).
Psalm 110:4 names Melchizedek as representative of the priestly line through
which a future king of Israel's Davidic line was ordained. The future king -- in
the true belief, is Yahshua-- He is referred to as a "priest for ever after the
order of Melchizedek".
Yahweh has sworn and will not change his mind. You are a priest forever, in the
order of Melchizedek. — Psalms 110:4 (NIV).
Some rabbinic scholars identify Melchizedek with Noah's son Shem. The account of
Melchizedek given in the Dead Sea Scrolls has also divided scholars into two
camps, one that asserts his existence as a mortal man and another that
identifies him with the archangel Michael.

We want to take a closer look at the passage with the most information concerning Melchizedek, Hebrews chapter 7.
Hebrews 7
For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of El Most High, who met Abraham
returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him, to whom also Abraham
divided a tenth part of all (being first, by interpretation, King of
righteousness, and then also King of Salem, which is King of peace; without
father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor
end of life, but made like unto the Son of Yahweh), abides (remains) a priest
continually.
This eliminates the descendant of or being Shem himself theory. Without any earthly lineage (without father, without mother) having no genealogy period. If you pay close attention to the chapters in Genesis that precede chapter 14, you will find various lineages descending from Adam. Melchizedek is not among them.
Now consider how great this man was, to whom Abraham, the patriarch, gave a
tenth out of the chief spoils. And they indeed of the sons of Levi that receive
the priest’s office have commandment to take tithes of the people according to
the law, that is, of their brethren, though these have come out of the loins of
Abraham: but he whose genealogy is not counted from them has taken tithes of
Abraham, and has blessed him that has the promises. But without any dispute the
less is blessed of the better. And here men that die receive tithes; but there
one, of whom it is witnessed that he lives. And, so to say, through Abraham even
Levi, who received tithes, has paid tithes; for he was yet in the loins of his
father, when Melchizedek met him.
There was nothing of the Levitical Priesthood in place in Abraham's era. This High Priest of El Elyon pointed to another time. Abraham was blessed to see this individual. Remember, Abraham was eventually called the friend of Yahweh! Jacob/James 2:23.
Now if there was perfection through the Levitical priesthood (for under it has
the people received the law), what further need was there that another priest
should arise after the order of Melchizedek, and not be reckoned after the order
of Aaron? For the
priesthood being changed,
there is made of necessity a change also of the law. For he of whom these things
are said belongs to another tribe, from which no man has given attendance at the
altar. For it is evident that our Savior has sprung out of Judah; as to which
tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priests. And what we say is yet more
abundantly evident, if after the likeness of Melchizedek there arises another
priest, who hath been made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after
the power of an endless life:
So! If this High Priest of El Elyon came from eternity and dwells in eternity, who could this be referring to? If the priesthood was changed? What was put into effect for the true worshipper today? Should we be worshipping Yahweh in spirit and truth? Or? Should we be wearing the priestly garb of the Levitical Priesthood?
For it is
witnessed of him,
You are a priest for ever
After the order of Melchizedek.
For there is a disannulling of a foregoing commandment because of its weakness
and unprofitable-ness (for the law made nothing perfect), and a bringing in upon
it of a better hope, through which we draw near to Yahweh. And inasmuch as it is
not without the taking of an oath (for they indeed have been made priests
without an oath; but he with an oath by him that says of him,
Yahweh swore and will not repent himself,
You are a priest for ever);
by so much also has Yahshua become the surety of a better covenant. And they
indeed have been made priests many in number, because that by death they are
hindered from continuing: but he,
because he abides for ever,
has his priesthood unchangeable. Wherefore also he is able to save to the
uttermost them that draw near to Yahweh through him, seeing he ever lives to
make intercession for them.
For such a high priest became us, holy, guileless, undefiled, separated from
sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
who needs not daily, like those
high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for his own sins, and then for the
sins of the people: for this he did once for all, when he offered up himself.
For the law appoints men high priests, having infirmity; but the word of the
oath, which was after the law, appoints a Son, perfected for evermore.
This is a very powerful passage in regards to the Priesthood being changed. Yahshua the Messiah was revealed to Abram as Melchizedek. The High Priest of El Elyon that dwells in Eternity. If we can understand the message this great passage has for us, the human race, we will be greatly improved.
Have this mind
in you, which was also in the Messiah Yahshua: who,
existing
in the form of Elohim,
counted not the being on an equality with Yahweh a thing to be grasped, but
emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of
men; and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, becoming obedient
even unto death, yea, the death of the tree. Wherefore also Yahweh highly
exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that in the
name of Yahshuas every knee should bow, of things in heaven and things on earth
and things under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Yahshua
the Messiah is Master, to the glory of Yahweh the Father.
Philippians 2:5-11
Now, what is your choice?
Should we allow ourselves to be deceived by the forth coming Anti-Messiah?
Should we follow the old system of sacrifices? Or! Should we accept
the sacrifice of Yahweh that takes away the sins of the world? This of
course being Yahshua the Messiah the true Lamb of Yahweh!
Should we be wearing the paraphernalia associated with the animal sacrificial system? Should we wear garments associated with Babylon and false worship? Should we be making a vain show as did the Pharisees in Matthew 23?
But all their works they do to be seen of men: for they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, and love the chief place at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues, and the salutations in the marketplaces, and to be called of men, Rabbi. Matthew 23:5-7
Yours in Yahshua, Hawke
