MESSIAH'S JUDGMENT SEAT

For we all must appear before the judgment seat of Messiah, so that each one may receive the things done through the body, according to what he did, whether good or bad.  2 Corinthians 5:10

For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there  but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and a fierceness of fire which shall devour the adversaries.  A man that has set at naught Moses law dies without compassion on the word of two or three witnesses:
of how much sorer punishment, think you, shall he be judged worthy, who has trodden under foot the Son of Yahweh, and has counted the blood of the covenant wherewith he was sanctified an unholy thing, and has done despite unto the Spirit of grace?  Hebrews 10:26-29

Using the Names of Yahweh and Yahshua the Messiah should automatically impose upon the bearers, a higher standard.   Why is it then, that some, continue to commit transgressions, while confessing and uttering these Holy Names?

Do these individuals not believe the predicament they have placed themselves in?   Using the Sacred Names and committing sin, brings serious trouble to these errant people.  Do they believe the once saved always saved doctrine?  Is just believing in the Sacred Names sufficient for Salvation?   Could it possibly be, Sacred Name believers now parallel Witchcraft and Magic?  Could they just be using the Sacred Names for mystical/magical means and purpose?

Names and Magic

"In an attempt to use divine power, magicians used various biblical names and titles of G-d in their incantations. These included El, Elohim, Eloah, Adonai, Sabaoth, and Shaddai. But the one name which came closer to the inner reality of the G-d of the Old Testament was the Tetragrammaton, the YHWH. It was held in such profound awe that it was rarely pronounced for fear of profaning it and possibly for fear of the magic of enemies if they should discover its pronunciation. This belief led to a theological problem. If G-d could be coerced by the use of his name, then he was not omnipotent. Therefore, a magical explanation was advanced to solve the problem.

The invocation of G-d's name does not oblige him to do the will of the one who invokes his name, and he cannot be coerced by the recital of his name. Rather, the 'name' itself is invested with the power to fulfill the desire of the man who pronounces it." (Richard Cavendish, article 'Names'.)

"The Tetragrammaton was considered to be connected with awesome mysteries. The 'wonder- workers' of the Middle Ages, and later times, were believed to have known how to pronounce the Tetragrammaton. Such a wonder-worker was called a 'Baal Shem' meaning master of the name." (The Universal Jewish Encyclopedia; Vol. 10, article 'Tetragrammaton'.)

"
In the Cabala, the creation of the universe was regarded as the unfolding of G-d's name and the ten Sefiroth, being aspects of G-d's identity, constitute the sacred name of G-d. The letters of the Hebrew alphabet, used in various combinations and changes, came to be regarded as extremely powerful objects of meditation and magical tools through which the universe was created and which contained the secret of the structure of all things. Thus, the object of Jewish mystical contemplation was the name of G-d which reflects the hidden meaning and totality of existence. It is the name of G-d through which everything acquires its meaning. Who, therefore, can succeed in making this great name of G-d, which is the least concrete and perceptible thing in the world, the object of his meditation is on the way to true mystical ecstasy."  (Man, Myth, & Magic, edited by Richard Cavendish, article, "Names.")

"The idea common to all magic is that words, names, and sounds have special powers and this applies particularly to names of gods, angels, and demons. To know the name and how to pronounce it and use it made it possible to utilize its power. It is an ancient widespread belief that a secret name can have power over everything in the universe. This belief is especially held by the Jews, and the names of G-d are frequently used in the practice of magic.
This is why the pronunciation of the Tetragrammaton is so important. The correct pronunciation is absolutely essential for the working of magic." (The Supernatural Magic, Words, and Numbers, Editorial Consultants: Colin Wilson and Uri Geller, p. 68.)

"The Talmud makes no bones about the magic of the names of G-d. According to it, the divine names of G-d were used to perform miracles by those who knew their combinations." (The Jewish Encyclopedia, article, 'Names of G-d'.)

(The above mystical symbol was used in Bohemia. Notice the Hebrew Name in the middle. Do you recognize it?)

What am I saying?  Simply and forthrightly put?  The Nominal Sacred Name Movement individuals/groups today, (most that is!) are paralleling witchcraft and demonism!   They use the Sacred Names but reject the entire counsel of Yahweh.  They only keep certain laws in the Torah.  Laws that will not cramp their liberal lifestyle!   The Sacred Name Movement groups/individuals are only using the Sacred Names as magic charms.   All you need to know are the Names.

In the same sense Chr--tianity only wants you to confess the Name of the LJC for Salvation.  Just confess the LJC and you will be saved they say.  So, equally the Nominal Sacred Name Movement parallels Rome's religion, by only requiring use of the Sacred Names for Salvation, sans Torah!

Israel began thinking the Ark of the Covenant had mystical powers, and with it alone the enemies of Israel would be defeated.

Israel started using the Ark of the covenant as a so-called "Good Luck Charm."  They began viewing the Ark as a symbol that defeated the evil forces when in their possession.  Was this the reason for the Ark of the Covenant?

And the word of Samuel was revealed to all Israel. And Israel went out to meet the Philistines for battle. And they pitched beside Ebenezer, and the Philistines pitched in Aphek.
And the Philistines set themselves in order to meet Israel, and the battle was spread. And Israel was stricken before the Philistines. And they struck about four thousand men from the battle line in the field.
And the people came into the camp, and the elders of Israel said, Why has Yahweh stricken us today before the Philistines?
Let us take the ark of the covenant of Yahweh to us, and let it come into our midst; and it will save us from the hand of our enemies.  1 Samuel 4:1-3

Did the Ark save them?  No!  They were defeated before their enemies, and the Ark was captured by the Philistines.  Why was Israel defeated?  Because of sin and immorality among the people, and especially, in the Priesthood.  Eli's sons were evil, and Eli failed to restrain them.

And Eli was very old and had heard all that his sons did to Israel, and how they lay with the women who served at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
And he said to them, Why do you do things like these? For I am hearing of your evil doings from all these people.
No my sons, for the report which I am hearing is not good,
causing the people of Yahweh to transgress.
If a man sins against a man, then Elohim shall judge him. But if a man sins against Yahweh, who shall pray for him? But they did not listen to the voice of their father because Yahweh desired to put them to death.  1 Samuel 2:22-25

What is the Ark?  What was it used for?

And they shall make an ark of acacia wood, two and a half cubits long, and a cubit and a half wide, and a cubit and a half high.
And you shall overlay it with pure gold; you shall overlay it inside and outside. And you shall make a wreath of gold all around on it.
And you shall cast four rings of gold for it, and shall put it on its four feet; two rings on the one side, and two rings on the second side.
And you shall make poles of acacia wood, and you shall overlay them with gold.
And you shall put the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark, to carry the ark by them.
The poles shall be in the rings of the ark; they shall not depart from it.
And you shall put the testimony into the ark, which I shall give to you.
And you shall make a mercyseat of pure gold, its length two and a half cubits, and its width a cubit and a half.
And you shall make two cherubs of gold; you shall make them of beaten work from the two ends of the mercyseat.
And make one cherub from the end here, and one cherub from the end there. You shall make the cherubs from the mercyseat, on its two ends.
And the cherubs shall be spreading out wings above, covering the mercyseat with their wings, and their faces each one toward the other; the faces of the cherubs shall be toward the mercyseat.
And you shall put the mercyseat on the ark from above. And you shall put the testimony into the ark, which I shall give to you.

And I will meet you there, and will speak with you, above the mercyseat, from between the two cherubs which are on the ark of testimony, all which I shall command you concerning the sons of Israel.  Exodus 25:10-22

And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness. Isaiah 16:5

Can we compare the mercy seat with the throne of the coming Messiah?  Will Yahshua sit upon a throne and judge the Nations?  Will He rule the Nations with a rod of iron?  Yes to all!

Why then pray tell, can anyone using the Sacred Names be so laissez-faire then?  Can you be accepted into the Kingdom of Heaven by only using the Sacred Names while blatantly violating the laws of the Bible?  Are the so-called leaders of the Sacred Name Movement guilty of causing people to sin?  Absolutely Yes!

Eli's sons were lawless men.  They were killed because of their sins!  Do you suppose they knew and used the Sacred Name of Yahweh?  Do you believe that Satan (הילל hêylêl hay-lale' the morning star: - Lucifer.) knows and still uses Yahweh's Name?  Will that save Him?

You were perfect in your ways from the day that you were created, until unrighteousness was found in you.
By the abundance of your traffic they filled the midst of you with violence,
and you have sinned: therefore I have cast you as profane out of the mountain of Elohim; and I have destroyed you, covering Cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; you have corrupted your wisdom by reason of your brightness: I have cast you to the ground; I have laid you before kings, that they may see you.
 By the multitude of your iniquities, in the unrighteousness of your traffic, you have profaned your sanctuaries;
therefore have I brought forth a fire from the midst of you; it has devoured you, and I have turned you to ashes on the earth in the sight of all those who see you.  Ezekiel 28:15-18

This passage describes the destruction of הילל hêylêl AKA Satan.  If Yahweh will destroy an Angel that once stood in His presence, at His left side, who do we think we are?  This Angel violated the laws of Yahweh, need I say more?

Not every one that says to me, Master, Master, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
Many will say to me in that day, Master, Master, did we not prophesy by your name, and by your name cast out demons, and by your name do many mighty works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity.
  Matthew 7:21-23

The Nominal Sacred Name Movement falls directly into this passage.  This passage categorizes them precisely.  They know and use the Sacred Names of Almighty Yahweh and Yahshua the Messiah, but; they continue to work iniquity.  They are lawless people.  Will they enter the Kingdom?  No!  Not unless they repent and do the works required for Salvation.

We have received a very evil report concerning some individuals in the Nominal Sacred Name Movement.  Their sins align with the sons of Eli!  Sexual weaknesses caused the downfall of Israel many times.  You have but to think of Numbers 25 to see this.  Can you use the Sacred Names of Yahweh, commit immorality, and still be exonerated?  Can you use the Name of Yahshua the Messiah, commit sin and then expect His shed blood to cover over your transgression?  (Hebrews 10:26 "For if we are willfully sinning after receiving the full knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice concerning sins.")

For it is impossible for those once having been enlightened, and having tasted of the heavenly gift, and becoming sharers of the Holy Spirit,
and tasting the good Word of Yahweh, and the works of power of a coming age,
and having fallen away, it is impossible for them again to renew to repentance, impaling again for themselves the Son of Yahweh, and putting Him to open shame.
 Hebrews 6:4-6

For we all must appear before the judgment seat of Messiah, so that each one may receive the things done through the body, according to what he did, whether good or bad.  2 Corinthians 5:10
